New Orleans made it two in a row for the first time since 1969 when Bill Butler scored from the 1-yard line with 39 seconds to play. The winning TD came after Happy Feller apparently had booted his third FG, but the Lions were penalized for roughing the kicker. The Saints took the first down at the 2 and Butler went over on his second plunge. Butler ran for 91 yards and Jess Phillips for 72.
