Bryant's run came late in the third period after the Broncos had narrowed the gap to 10-3. Denver scored again in the final minutes on a pass from Charley Johnson to Bill Van Heusen. The Rams' defense, led by Fred Dryer and Jack Youngblood, sacked Johnson six times for 40 yards.
