Thom Darden set up the first of two Don Cockroft FGs when he picked off a Lynn Dickey pass in the first quarter and Jerry Sherk set the stage for another scoring drive by recovering Vic Washington's fumble. Clarence Scott's interception led to another Cleveland TD. Greg Pruitt led the Browns with 14 carries for 89 yards including a nine-yard TD run.
