Ken Stabler, the AFC passing leader in 1973, threw three TD passes and the Raiders' defense intercepted five passes, sacked the quarterbacks four times and held the Chiefs to 48 yards passing. Rookie tight end Dave Casper caught two of Stabler's scoring passes and Mike Siani grabbed the third. Kansas City's only score came on Wilbur Young's 52-yard run with an interception. Len Dawson was injured and left the game after the first half, Mike Livingston replacing him.
