Buffalo struck for first-half touchdowns on Neal Craig's 55-yard interception return and a 47-yard pass by Joe Ferguson, but didn't lock it up until Larry Watkins scored with one minute to play. It was the fifth straight defeat for the Colts, who pulled to within 17-14 on Lydell Mitchell's touchdown in the third quarter. O. J. Simpson gained 127 yards on 23 carries and the Bills' defensive unit sacked Bert Jones five times for 43 yards. Mitchell gained 81 yards and Bill Olds 70 for the Colts.
