The Eagles spotted the Giants a 7-0 lead then got their offense in gear to record their fourth straight victory. Roman Gabriel's touchdown passes of four yards to Don Zimmerman and five yards to Harold Carmichael were his first scoring throws of the season. Tom Sullivan scored three times from one yard out. Philadelphia's defense continued its much-improved performance and had permitted the fewest points in the NFL, 41, after five games.
