Tony Greene's sixth interception set up Buffalo's only touchdown by Larry Watkins which, combined with three field goals by John Leypoldt, helped the Bills down the Bears in an interconference game. O. J. Simpson was limited to 62 yards, 26 of them on his first three carries. Gary Huff completed 16 of 36 for 204 yards, six each to Carl Garrett and Charley Wade, but couldn't crack a Bills' pass defense that had allowed only three TD passes.
