. . . where the 1970s live forever!

NFL game summary for 10/27/1974:

Drew Pearson, who earlier caught a 32-yard touchdown pass from Roger Staubach to give Dallas a 14-0 lead, threw a 46-yard scoring pass to Golden Richards in the third period after taking a lateral from Staubach. The Pearson pass provided a cushion for the Cowboys because Giants defensive end Roy Hilton had recovered a fumble and dashed 71 yards to score earlier in the period. Craig Morton, who was traded from Dallas to New York six days before the game, completed 11 passes against his former teammates, but was intercepted three times while playing the final three periods.
