After the 49ers had taken a 24-14 lead early in the third period, the Raiders pulled within 24-21 on Pete Banaszak's one-yard touchdown, then turned a pair of San Francisco errors into a pair of decisive touchdowns. George Atkinson's fumble recovery set up a Ken Stabler-to-Dave Casper go-ahead touchdown pass of two yards, and Harold Hart grabbed a 49ers' fumble out of the air and dashed 40 yards for the final score.
