Don Nottingham, filling in for injured Larry Csonka who missed his first game since October 4, 1969, scored three touchdowns and rookie Benny Malone had his second straight 100-yard plus game as the Dolphins defeated the Falcons. Paul Warfield returned to the lineup after missing four games and caught four of Bob Griese's passes. The battle of the Malone brothers was a walkover for Benny with 108 yards while his brother Art of the Falcons gained only 27.
