Ken Burrough caught seven passes for 145 yards including a 51-yard toss by Dan Pastorini that set up Willie Rodgers' winning touchdown with 1:56 to play. Bobby Howfield's 35-yard field goal gave the Jets a 22-20 edge with 3:57 to go but the Jets couldn't contain Pastorini. Joe Namath threw for two scores in the wild first half but was intercepted twice, the last time by Bob Atkins with only 1:40 left.
