The Raiders streaked to their seventh straight win and opened up a 3½ game lead in the AFC West on a four-touchdown performance by quarterback Ken Stabler. Fred Biletnikoff and Cliff Branch each caught two scoring passes in a game played in light snow. Stabler reached the 4,000-yard mark in a year and a half as a starter and stretched his string to 88 passes without an interception. Marv Hubbard gained 107 yards for the Raiders and Otis Armstrong 88 for the second-place Broncos.
