Pittsburgh won its seventh straight over NFC opposition and scored its second shutout of the year at the expense of the Eagles, who were held to 143 yards. Terry Bradshaw directed a 375-yard offense, threw a touchdown pass, and gained 48 yards rushing as the Steelers maintained their 1½ game lead in the AFC Central. Pittsburgh increased its league-leading total of sacks to 32 by dumping Philadelphia quarterbacks four times and also intercepted two passes.
