All NFL game summaries for 11/10/1974:
Otis Armstrong romped for 110 yards and Barney Chavous led a Denver defensive unit that sacked Marty Domres five times. Bill Thompson contributed two interceptions and a 60-yard punt return to the Broncos' victory. Domres, playing with a painfully injured breastbone, completed 19 of 43 passes. Lydell Mitchell caught 11 of the passes for 90 yards, only one short of the Colts' record of 12 catches by Raymond Berry in 1957.

Houston won its third straight for the first time since 1971 and dropped Buffalo into a tie with Miami for the AFC East lead by intercepting six of Joe Ferguson's passes. Ferguson had only four passes picked off in eight previous games. Dan Pastorini passed for one score and directed a ground attack for two more while the Oilers held the Bills to three field goals by John Leypoldt. O. J. Simpson reinjured an ankle and left the game in the second half.

Ken Anderson completed 20 of 22 passes and broke two NFL records and then made a game-saving tackle to move the Bengals within a half game of the leading Steelers in the AFC Central Division. Anderson went into the game with a string of eight consecutive completions and increased the total to 16, topping the league record set by Len Dawson in 1967 and equaled by Joe Namath the same year. Anderson's 90.9 percentage for his 20-of-22 topped the record of 86.21 set by Ken Stabler last year with 25-of-29. Doug Dressler caught nine passes and backup RB Ed Williams scored two touchdowns.

After the 49ers took a 14-13 lead in the fourth period, the Cowboys marched 70 yards in seven plays for the winning touchdown, a six-yard run by Calvin Hill, for their fourth straight victory. It was San Francisco's seventh loss in a row. Hill set Dallas club records for most rushing attempts, 32, and most rushing yards, 153, in posting the best 1974 single-game rushing performance in the NFC. He also scored a one-yard touchdown in the first period. Drew Pearson's four receptions for 100 yards marked the fourth game in which he gained at least 100 yards.

Greg Pruitt returned the opening kickoff 88 yards, the longest of the season in the AFC, and Thom Darden went 29 yards after recovering a fumble to give the Browns a running start against the Patriots in the first two minutes. After New England fought back to tie on two touchdowns by Sam Cunningham, a 25-yard punt return by Pruitt set up a winning four-yard run by Ken Brown. Cleveland had kicked an apparent tie-breaking field goal before Brown scored, but New England was offside and the Browns took the first down and went for the touchdown. Pruitt accounted for 196 yards overall and Darden had two interceptions.

Taylor had nine receptions for 155 yards and boosted his career total to 568 for third place on the NFL all-time receiving list. A late Philadelphia march for a possible tie was halted when Ken Stone intercepted a Roman Gabriel pass on the Washington 3.
