Trailing 17-6 entering the final period, the Rams rallied for a pair of touchdowns for the victory, which combined with New Orleans' loss gave Los Angeles its second straight NFC Western Division title. Quarterback James Harris, who completed his final 10 passes, hit 3 in a 43-yard drive which ended with Harris scoring from the 1 with nine minutes left. Then the Rams, down 17-13, took possession with 3:53 remaining and Harris directed the winning touchdown drive during which he completed six passes, the final one for eight yards to Jack Snow for the decisive touchdown with 1:14 to play.
