Rookie Eric Torkelson raced 29 yards to score a touchdown with a fumble recovery and Ken Ellis scored on a 38-yard interception return as the Packers captured their third straight victory since John Hadl became the starting quarterback. The Green Bay defense continued its improved play which permitted only 10 points during the winning streak and helped move the Packers into a second-place tie in the NFC Central Division.
