The Dolphins wrapped up their fourth straight AFC Eastern Division title and kept alive their hopes for a third straight Super Bowl despite a late surge by the Colts who closed to within one point with 62 seconds to go. Bob Griese threw one touchdown pass and rookie Benny Malone had his third 100-yard day with 104 on 17 carries. Lydell Mitchell rushed for 44 yards and caught seven passes to take the AFC lead in pass receptions.
