Fran Tarkenton passed for two touchdowns and ran for another while the Vikings rolled up 352 yards, intercepted four Cleveland passes and sacked the Browns' passers five times. Chuck Foreman scored twice on a pass and a plunge and wound up with 33 yards. Bob Lee took over from Tarkenton late in the game and also hit with a touchdown pass. Greg Pruitt's 50 yards on 11 carries led the rushers and teammate Billy Pritchett gained 46 yards but both starter Mike Phipps and Brian Sipe were ineffective.
