. . . where the 1970s live forever!

NFL game summary for 09/29/1975:

Steve Ramsey took over for the injured Charley Johnson in the second quarter and led the Broncos to their second straight victory. Although John Hadl did a masterful job by piercing the Denver defense for 23 completions in 36 attempts and 273 yards, two interceptions proved costly. Jim O'Malley picked off the first and returned it 38 yards to set up a touchdown pass from Ramsey to Jack Dolbin. Randy Gradishar, another linebacker, put the game away by running 44 yards with an interception for the final score with 40 seconds remaining. Otis Armstrong gained 45 yards on five carries before he left in the second period with bruised ribs. Denver sacked Hadl four times. In a losing effort, Green Bay's Ken Payne had the best performance of any receiver in the NFL in 1975, pulling in 12 passes for 167 yards.
