. . . where the 1970s live forever!

All NFL game summaries for 10/06/1975:

A powerful Cowboys' pass rush and a 21-point fourth period outburst kept Dallas undefeated, handed the Lions their first loss, and spoiled the Detroit home opener in their new fiberglass-roofed stadium before a sellout crowd. Capitalizing on Levi Johnson's third blocked punt of the season, Detroit took a short-lived 10-9 lead five minutes into the third period, but punter Herman Weaver's fumble of a punt snap set up Dallas' go-ahead touchdown six minutes later. Roger Staubach connected for a pair of touchdown passes in the final period and the Dallas defense continued to pressure Detroit passers, finishing with 11 sacks for 84 yards.
