NFL game summary for 10/19/1975:



Bob Griese passed for three touchdowns and ran for another in a 43-0 Dolphins' romp on a rainy afternoon. Miami shut off Joe Namath with only 8 completions in 24 attempts for 96 yards and intercepted him six times. Griese hit with 10 of 14 for 155 yards and the three scores before giving way to Earl Morrall and Don Strock. Mercury Morris went over the 100-yard mark for the second time in 1975 with 114 yards on 16 carries. Curtis Johnson had three of the Dolphins' six interceptions, several on balls bouncing out of Jets' receivers' hands.
