Marvin Cobb, a rookie defensive back filling in for injured regulars, sloshed 52 yards after intercepting a Ken Stabler pass in the third quarter for the Bengals' fifth straight victory. Ken Anderson of the Bengals and Stabler each was intercepted four times in a game played in steady rain. Jim LeClair killed a late Oakland threat when he picked off a Stabler pass on the Cincinnati 18 with 44 seconds remaining. Rookie Stan Fritts led the Bengals' rushers with 56 yards and scored a touchdown.
