. . . where the 1970s live forever!

NFL game summary for 10/20/1975:

George Hunt's 37-yard field goal with six seconds to play enabled the Giants to upset the previously undefeated Bills despite O. J. Simpson's 126 yards on 34 carries. O. J.'s season total of 823 yards with his 29th 100-yard game set a NFL record for the first five games, established by Jim Brown with 815 yards in 1958. Simpson's one-yard TD run and a Joe Ferguson-to-J. D. Hill pass gave the Bills an early lead but Craig Morton brought the Giants back by completing 15 for 220 yards. Buffalo's John Leypoldt missed a 19-yard field goal attempt and had another blocked at the 50 before Hunt won the game.
