. . . where the 1970s live forever!

NFL game summary for 10/26/1975:

Bert Jones threw two touchdown passes to rookie Marshall Johnson and scored once himself while the Colts' defensive unit sacked Joe Namath seven times for 74 yards, the most in his pro career. Despite the heavy rush Namath completed 19 of 28 for 333 yards and three touchdowns, his first 300-yard day since 1972. Two Jets' fumbles set up a pair of early Colts' scores and Lydell Mitchell rushed for 98 yards and caught three passes, increasing his AFC-Ieading total to 29 receptions. Fred Cook and Mike Barnes each had two sacks for Baltimore. Namath's 91-yard completion to Rich Caster, a Jets' record and the longest pass in the AFC in 1975, was wasted when they failed to score.
