Ken Anderson scored on a three-yard run with 2:04 remaining to extend the Bengals' winning streak to six and preserve their one-game lead over Pittsburgh and Houston in the AFC Central race. Cincinnati defensive tackle Ken Carpenter recovered an Atlanta fumble at the Falcons' 21 to set up Anderson's score. The Bengals' other two touchdowns came within a two-and- a-half-minute span in the second period as Ken Riley scored on a 30-yard interception return and Jim LeClair picked off another Atlanta pass to precede Anderson's 30-yard scoring pass to Charlie Joiner.
