Linebacker Stan White had 11 tackles, three sacks and two interceptions for the Colts, who won their first home game in 13 since December 16, 1973. Bert Jones hit Raymond Chester and Lydell Mitchell with touchdown passes in the Colts' first win over the Browns at home. Jones, the leading running quarterback in the AFC, topped Colts' rushers with 49 yards and completed 16 of 26 passes. Cleveland's touchdown came with 4:51 to play. Mitchell's four catches for 69 yards left him the top AFC receiver with 33 receptions.
