NFL game summary for 11/23/1975:

Viking quarterback Fran Tarkenton completed 24 of 32 passes to establish an NFL record for career completions at 2,841, which surpassed the old mark of 2,830 set by John Unitas. Tarkenton's record-breaking completion was a four-yard gainer to running back Ed Marinaro at the start of a go-ahead touchdown drive in the final two minutes of the first half. Marinaro, who caught 11 passes to set a Minnesota one-game record, climaxed the scoring drive by catching a 16-yard pass from Tarkenton.
