. . . where the 1970s live forever!

All NFL game summaries for 11/27/1975:

The Rams put together a methodical attack and a smothering defense to overwhelm the Lions and clinch their third consecutive NFC Western Division title while spoiling Detroit's annual Thanksgiving Day home game. Los Angeles quarterback James Harris threw three touchdown passes -- 11 yards to Ron Jessie and 17 and 38 yards to Harold Jackson. In addition to winning its own division title, the Rams also eliminated the Lions in the NFC Central and assured the Vikings of their seventh division title in eight years.

Despite arriving in St. Louis only three hours before kickoff because a Midwest snowstorm forced them to remain overnight in Chicago, the Bills unleashed a strong ground attack, paced by Jim Braxton's 160 yards and three touchdowns, to keep themselves in contention in the AFC East while snapping the Cardinals six-game winning streak. O. J. Simpson rushed for 85 yards and scored on a three-yard run, while John Leypoldt added two field goals. Dwight Harrison picked off two of Buffalo's four interceptions.
