Despite arriving in St. Louis only three hours before kickoff because a Midwest snowstorm forced them to remain overnight in Chicago, the Bills unleashed a strong ground attack, paced by Jim Braxton's 160 yards and three touchdowns, to keep themselves in contention in the AFC East while snapping the Cardinals six-game winning streak. O. J. Simpson rushed for 85 yards and scored on a three-yard run, while John Leypoldt added two field goals. Dwight Harrison picked off two of Buffalo's four interceptions.
