The Browns trailed 16-3 going into the final quarter but Mike Phipps hit Reggie Rucker with a touchdown pass, then directed the winning drive. The margin of victory turned out to be an aborted extra point try after the Saints' second touchdown when a low center snap squirted through holder Archie Manning's hands on the muddy field.
