The Oilers' defense limited the 49ers to five yards rushing and Billy Johnson returned a punt 76 yards to set up Houston's final touchdown, a two-yard run by Ronnie Coleman. Houston snapped a 13-13 tie early in the fourth period on a 67-yard scoring drive climaxed by Willie Rodgers' one-yard touchdown bolt. Coleman rushed for 82 yards and Ken Burrough caught seven passes for 85 yards. Oilers cornerback Zeke Moore's 74-yard interception return was the longest in the AFC during 1975.
