NFL game summary for 12/20/1975:

Fran Tarkenton broke John Unitas' record with his 291st touchdown pass and O. J. Simpson scored his 23rd touchdown of the season, topping Gale Sayers' NFL mark of 22 set in 1965 as Minnesota beat Buffalo 35-13 in a snowstorm. Chuck Foreman scored four times, twice on passes from Tarkenton, running his season total to 22, matching Sayers' old mark and tying Simpson and Lydell Mitchell for the most points scored in a single game in the NFL in 1975. Foreman came close to scoring again but fumbled near the goal line and a teammate recovered for a score. Simpson finished the season with 1,817 yards and Foreman's 85 yards rushing gave him 1,070 for the season. The record-breaking score by Simpson came on a pass from Gary Marangi, the backup quarterback, on a 64-yard play.
