NFL game summary for 12/28/1975:



Ken Stabler led the Raiders into the AFC championship round for the third successive year with three touchdown passes in a victory over the wild card Bengals. Stabler hit Mike Siani (9 yards), Bob Moore (8) and Dave Casper (2) with scoring passes while completing 17 of 23 for 199 yards. With the Bengals trailing 31-14 in the last quarter, Ken Anderson threw touchdown passes to Charlie Joiner (25) and Isaac Curtis (14) and Cincinnati had a chance to win it all after Ron Carpenter recovered a Raiders' fumble on the Oakland 38. The Raiders' defense, led by linebacker Ted Hendricks, held for downs and took over the ball for the final two minutes. Clarence Davis led the rushers with 16 for 63 yards and Pete Banaszak had 17 for 62 and also scored a touchdown. Oakland sacked Anderson five times for 40 yards.
