Mike Boryla threw second half touchdown passes to Harold Carmichael and Charlie Smith after the Falcons took a 13-0 halftime lead, limiting Philadelphia to 34 net yards in the first two periods. Steve Bartkowski got Atlanta on the scoreboard with an 11-yard touchdown pass to Alfred Jenkins and went on to complete 18 of 32 passes for 212 yards, but suffered two interceptions. Boryla's fourth down pass with 4:21 left in the game found Smith in the end zone to lead the Eagles to their first win over the Falcons since 1967.
