NFL game summary for 10/10/1976:

Don Cockroft's four field goals and a drive engineered by first-year quarterback David Mays proved too much for Pittsburgh as the Browns dealt the Steelers their fourth loss in five games. Cockroft then kicked 50 and 40-yard field goals to give the Browns an eight-point spread, which was cut to two points on a 22-yard touchdown run by Steelers' rookie quarterback Mike Kruczek with 1:05 remaining.
