James Harris threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns after a two week injury absence, leading the Rams to their third straight win and into first place in the NFC West. Monte Jackson got Los Angeles's first touchdown on a 41-yard interception return and Harris put the Rams up 31-3 at the half with a 15-yard TD pass to Ron Jessie. Harold Jackson caught Harris's second touchdown pass, a 20-yarder, in the third period and Pat Haden, replacing Harris midway through the fourth quarter, passed 23 yards to Tom Geredine for the final score.
