NFL game summary for 11/14/1976:

Jim Bakken's 25-yard field goal with four seconds left clinched the game for the Cardinals after Jim Hart outdueled Pat Haden, 324 to 172 yards, to bring St. Louis back from a 21-6 deficit. Cullen Bryant returned the second half kickoff 90 yards for a TD -- the NFC's longest kickoff return in 1976 -- and a 15-point Rams lead, but Hart drove the Cardinals 67 and 87 yards for touchdowns by Terry Metcalf to close within one point. Both teams traded fourth quarter TDs before Bakken's third field goal, as St. Louis remained second in the NFC East and Los Angeles first in the NFC West.
