Clark Gaines carried 14 yards for a TD on Namath's first play, then the Jets' quarterback led a 77-yard drive in the second period, capped by a scoring pass to Richard Caster. Lou Piccone scored the final New York touchdown, picking up 60 of his 112 punt return yards on his third quarter TD.
