Bobby Douglass' two second period touchdowns, plus a 28-point third quarter, led the Saints to their largest margin of victory in 10 years and tied their highest point total. Douglass' scores on one and three-yard TD runs resulted from two of five Seattle turnovers that were turned into New Orleans six-pointers. Following Chuck Muncie's three-yard touchdown run to open the Saints' scoring in the third period, Tom Myers picked up a Seahawk fumble at the Seattle 20 and ran it in for the score, and 28 seconds later Elex Price picked off a Bill Munson pass and returned it 23 yards for another touchdown.
