Morton and Marshall connected for their first score with 1:42 gone in the second period, and New York turned a fumble and a blocked punt into 10 more points for a 17-7 lead. Marshall then shook loose in the Lions' end zone with 5:06 left in the third period to grab Morton's 35-yard pass for the final score of the game.
