Rae opened the Raiders' scoring with a five-yard pass to Cliff Branch in the first quarter, and in the next period mounted an 89-yard drive that ended with Dave Casper's tenth TD reception of the year. Morris Bradshaw caught the final Rae scoring strike in the game that saw Mark van Eeghen become the third Oakland runner ever to eclipse 1,000 yards for the season and the Raiders tie their own mark for most victories in a season, 13.
