Ken Stabler took advantage of two San Diego turnovers and threw a pair of first-half touchdown passes in leading the Raiders to their 18th straight game without a loss against the Chargers. Stabler connected with Cliff Branch for Oakland's first TD, which was set up by a blocked punt. Dave Casper grabbed a one-yard scoring toss after a fumble recovery for the second six-pointer. Oakland's defense, which shut out San Diego for the second straight game, held the Chargers to a total of 121 yards. Pete Banaszak added the final score with his 48th career touchdown.
