The Giants parlayed two second-half touchdowns and a hostile defense into a 17-6 win and moved into a three-way tie for second place in the NFC East. Doug Kotar rambled 17 yards for a touchdown, rookie Joe Pisarcik threw a 23-yard scoring pass to Jim Robinson, and Joe Danelo booted a field goal to supply the Giants with all the points they needed. George Martin and Jack Gregory led a defensive charge that sacked Billy Kilmer six times and harassed him all afternoon.
