Conrad Dobler recovered a fumble in the end zone and Mike Sensibaugh raced 79 yards to score on a pass interception to help the Cardinals defeat the Giants 28-0. The Cardinals registered their first shutout of the season and moved into a second place tie with Washington in the NFC East. Jim Hart completed eight of his first nine passes to lead the Cardinals to 14-0 halftime lead. The Giants threatened to score several times but were hampered by penalties, turnovers, and an alert St. Louis defense.
