Franco Harris rushed for a career-high 179 yards and Terry Bradshaw threw two touchdown passes, as the Steelers won this Super Bowl X rematch. Dallas scored first on Tony Dorsett's 13-yard run. The extra-point kick was blocked and Dallas led 6-0. Franco Harris scored his first touchdown on a 61-yard scamper and the Steelers led 7-6. Roger Staubach brought Dallas back with a 23-yard TD pass to tight end Jay Saldi, but Bradshaw's nine-yard pass to Lynn Swann gave the halftime lead to the Steelers. In the third period, Pittsburgh put the game away as it scored on a 28-yard pass from Bradshaw to John Stallworth and Harris' TD run from two yards out.
