. . . where the 1970s live forever!

NFL game summary for 11/20/1977:

Craig Morton passed 23 yards to Haven Moses for the tie-breaking touchdown, but it was the Broncos' brilliant goal line stand in the final minute of play that highlighted Denver's ninth victory in 10 games. Following a scoreless first quarter, Denver jumped to a 7-0 lead when Lonnie Perrin scored on a two-yard run. Kansas City was able to tie the game on a Mike Livingston-to-Henry Marshall TD pass just seconds before the half. After Morton had put the Broncos in front with his TD strike, the Chiefs were faced with a punting situation near midfield. However, Kansas City opted to use a trick play that sprung linebacker Raymond Burks loose on a run to the Denver 1. The Broncos' defense then turned back three rushing plays and a pass to preserve the win.
