. . . where the 1970s live forever!

NFL game summary for 11/20/1977:

Lawrence McCutcheon scored the game-winning touchdown, but it was the Rams' defense, a blocked punt, a goal line stand and three interceptions that enabled Los Angeles to stop the San Francisco winning streak at four. Following a Pat Haden-to-Billy Waddy TD pass, an interference penalty gave the 49ers the ball at the L.A. 1. But the Rams held and kept the 10-3 lead intact at intermission. On the second play in the third quarter McCutcheon broke loose for a 42-yard TD run. The 49ers made it close on Delvin Williams' four-yard touchdown run, but the Rams pulled away as Rafael Septien kicked two field goals and Bill Simpson made two interceptions.
