Tony Dorsett became only the ninth rookie in NFL history to rush for more than 200 yards in a game as he ran for 206 yards and two TDs to lead the Cowboys to their seventh Eastern Division title. Ron Jaworski passed for two touchdowns and kept the Eagles in the game into the fourth quarter. With the Cowboys protecting a slim three-point lead, Dorsett broke loose on an 84-yard scoring jaunt, the longest in the NFL this season.
