Rookie Leroy Harris rushed for 140 yards including a 77-yard touchdown late in the final period as Miami defeated Baltimore and tied the Colts for first place in the AFC East. Bob Griese's 19th touchdown pass of the year gave the Dolphins a 10-6 lead in the third period. Bert Jones then drove the Colts to the Miami 4 but Roosevelt Leaks fumbled into the end zone and it was recovered by Norris Thomas of the Dolphins.
