Payton's fifth consecutive game -- and 10th of the season -- of more than 100 yards rushing left him 199 yards short of breaking O. J. Simpson's NFL single-season rushing record of 2,003 yards. James Scott had seven pass receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown to complement Payton's running.
